GAS DEL BUENO (Gas of the "good" kind) - Artist Cristobal Ochoa

An artist who has to recruit hordes of friends and charm his way with charmless cashiers to buy the supplies he needs. Easier said than done when you are allotted two pens per customer, and they're not even the right color. Lately it's been time that's been scarce, Cristobal has been on the streets. A couple of days ago he returned and posted this organic wonder on social media with the following statement: "I am back. I took some days off to rest and paint and drain some (We're still in the struggle!). This is the first in a new series of paintings entitled: Gas del bueno

Gas of the good kind, a reference to the infamous order issued on live TV by the now defunct Chavez with a threat to "off" any officials who refused. The order was that anyone caught blocking the streets, in the form of barricade known as Guarimbas, should receive a massive dose of tear gas.
Cristobal felt.... inspired: "After inhaling the gas of Peace on several occasions, I inevitably have to expel it somehow: Acrylic on canvas 90x90cms
